I recommend every US based poker player respond if you want the state of poker in the US to improve...

Since the UIGEA, poker in the US has been a struggling environment.  Congress is currently debating current legislation to repeal the present status and replace it with superior legislation that would improve the environment for online poker.  Let your voice be heard at this important time.

Great post!!! I am a US player and i just called in!  I have done things like this before for politics and it is very important so please make that call!

Great news...

HR 2267, also known as the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act was marked up and passed in the House Financial Services Committee by a margin of 41-22-1. The legislation, which is designed to implement regulation and licensing of online poker rooms in the United States, is now one step closer to being signed into law.
